AMARO was founded in 1986 by is creative director, Irit Goffer Sasson. A graduate of the Italian School of Design “Istituto Europeo Di Design”, Irit initially started a small home-based business which has grown into a successful international brand.

The defining uniqueness of AMARO is in designing jewellery inspired from ancient cultures, different religions and sources of feminine power in various cultures. Its international nature is expressed in the materials used and the spirit in which they are combined. AMARO jewellery is set with natural stones that have energetic values, wild elements such as corals, shells and bones and combined with Swarovski crystals.

Handmade in Israel, AMARO is designed and produced in Tel Aviv using traditional handiwork.
